Since you can use the OneDrive client which was installed from OneDrive release notes, we sincerely suggest you temporarily turn off the antivirus program and check whether you can sign in OneDrive. You should have the correct permission to use OneDrive application. To narrow down whether this issue is related to the OneDrive application or the permission of your account, we would like to know whether you can access OneDrive for Web in browser or not? If you can access OneDrive for Web without issue, We understand this issue happens after you installed OneDrive from Mac Apple Store. Sorry for the incontinence caused by this issue.
